Which plan is right for me? If you rely on both heating and cooling (most homes in our area do), the Twice-a-Year plan keeps both sides of your system checked before each season and gets you priority scheduling when the first heat wave or cold snap hits. If you just want a yearly check-up of both your heating and AC in a single visit at the lowest cost, the Once-a-Year plan has you covered.
What we check at every tune-up
Both plans use the same thorough checklist. The Twice-a-Year plan includes all 15 heating items. On the Once-a-Year plan, the heating check covers items 1–14. Bring your own filter: the customer supplies the air filter, and we’ll install it during the visit.

Just had a new system installed by BMS?
Every new BMS installation comes with a one-year BMS labor warranty and a 10-year manufacturer parts warranty (when the unit is registered with the manufacturer). Keeping up with regular maintenance is one of the best ways to protect that investment.

Frequently asked questions
How often should my heating and cooling system be serviced?
Twice a year is best for most homes: a cooling check in the spring and a heating check in the fall, so your system is ready before each season starts. That’s what the Twice-a-Year plan includes. If twice a year isn’t in the budget, the Once-a-Year plan checks both your heating and AC in one yearly visit.
What’s the difference between the two plans?
The Twice-a-Year plan ($20 per month, $110 every six months, or $200 per year) includes two tune-ups a year, priority scheduling, 24-hour emergency service, and 10% off service calls. The Once-a-Year plan ($150 per year) includes one tune-up a year that covers both heating and AC, plus 5% off service calls.
How can I pay for the Twice-a-Year plan?

How much does it cost if I have more than one system?
On the Twice-a-Year plan, each additional system (2nd, 3rd, or 4th) is $15 per month, so a home with two systems pays $35 per month. On the Once-a-Year plan, each additional system is $99 per year, so a home with two systems pays $249 per year.
How do I cancel?
Both plans continue until you cancel. To cancel, just call the BMS office at (304) 757-4822 or email bms1hvac@yahoo.com.
How will I know when it’s time for my tune-up?
We’ll send you an automated message when it’s time to schedule your visit.
Do I need to provide the air filter?
Yes. On both plans, the customer supplies the filter and we install it during the visit. Not sure what size you need? We’ll note it on your first visit.
Is coil cleaning included?
We check your system’s coils at every tune-up. If the condenser or evaporator coil needs cleaning, we’ll let you know first, since that’s an additional charge.
What if my system breaks down between visits?
Call us at (304) 757-4822. Twice-a-Year members get priority scheduling, 24-hour emergency service, and 10% off the service call. Once-a-Year members get 5% off the service call.
